Great North Baton Challenge – Oakfield Junior
Picture shows pupils from Oakfield Junior with crazy hair.
After the great success of Lingey House Primary the baton was passed over to Oakfield Junior School…
Most people dread waking up with bad hair but pupils at Oakfield Junior School in Gateshead decided that a ‘Bad Hair Day’ was a great way to make lots of money for the Great North Baton Challenge!
Pupils were sponsored to go to school with their hair spiked up, coloured in outrageous colours or hairsprayed in a crazy way… Even teachers and dinner ladies joined in the day!
Oakfield Junior managed to raise an hair-raising £1400 for The Children’s Foundation’s Baton Challenge!
