Special Round of Regional Small Grants

Around 2,000 babies are diagnosed with cerebral palsy every year in the UK. Cerebral Palsy can affect muscle control, coordination, and tone, reflexes, posture and balance. Often a person with Cerebral Palsy will display signs of the condition, but the effects can vary greatly from person to person This usually becomes apparent in a child’s first three years of life and they will experience lifelong difficulties with movement and coordination.

Our Last round of special grants in 2016 went to some fabulous projects including, Cerebral Palsy Sport, Newcastle United Foundation, Special Olympics Gateshead, Darlington Harriers and Heel & Toe Children’s Charity.

If you have a project that supports youngsters living with Cerebral Palsy please request an application pack….https://www.thechildrensfoundation.co.uk/we-help/regional-small-grants/
