Fancy Some Festive Fun?
The Children’s Foundation are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteering for events. We have many important fundraising activities coming up that simply can’t go ahead without the support of people generously giving their time to help.
Please give an hour of your time to help us collect at one of our Christmas events…
A Christmas shopping trip is not complete without the sound of a local choir harmonising to Jingle Bells whilst you rush around getting your last minute presents. This year The Children’s Foundation will be entertaining shoppers with the wonderful voices of local schools, choir groups and instrumentalists.
This year we have carol singing slots confirmed in Eldon Square on the following times.
Tuesday 10th December – 2pm – 4pm
Wednesday 11th December – 2pm – 4pm
Tuesday 17th December – 10pm – 12pm
Monday 23rd December – 10pm – 12pm
We will be in The Bridges, Sunderland on the following times:
Thursday 5th December – 10am – 2.30pm
Monday 9th December – 10am – 2.30pm
Thursday 12th December – 10am – 2.30pm
We will also be treating the shoppers in Metrocentre; dates to be confirmed.
If you would like to help out collecting at one of our performances or if you know of any choirs or groups that would love to perform for us then please get in touch, emailing email@example.com
Christmas is traditionally a time for children and this year is no exception. The Children’s Foundation is again helping Santa with his post bag.
Send a personalised letter to a child of your choice, which will be signed by Santa himself, for a small donation of £3.00. The letter will be addressed personally to your nominated child and be posted to arrive in time for Christmas.
For your letter from Santa, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application form.
For those who dread the day when the box of ribbon comes out, the TCF wrapping stand is a savior. Located in Eldon Square, our volunteers help wrap presents in return for a donation and this festive fundraiser has people coming back year after year.
If you feel at ease with a roll of sellotape and know your bows from your ribbons then we need your help! The wrapping stand will be in Eldon Square from Friday 13th December to Tuesday 24th December.
