North East Stars

The Children’s Foundation Stars Awards took place once again on Thursday 10th July 12-2pm at The Biscuit Factory, Stoddart Street, Shieldfield, Newcastle upon Tyne, hosted by Metro Radios breakfast legends Steve & Karen.

The awards aim to recognise the achievements of children in the North East with a disability, their friends and families, the challenges they face on a daily basis, reward their accomplishments and raise awareness of important issues to ensure equal opportunities.

Those nominated for a Stars Award received a medal and a certificate, with over 16 years receiving a £10 Eldon Square voucher.
