Regional Small Grants
The Children’s Foundation Regional Small Grants programme supports community projects that benefit children and young people in the North East area in line with our aims and objectives. Grants awarded are up to a maximum of £1,000.
There are currently no meetings scheduled in for 2016.
Recent award winners have included:
P.L.A.Y (Positive Leisure Activities for Youth) in Elswick, were granted £500. The funding will enable Hat-Trick to deliver football and sport activities in the Jubilee Estate area of Newcastle.
THE LEARNING LIBRARY in County Durham, were granted £978.95 The grant will enable them to purchase a Projector and effects wheel , Fibre optic light and light source, for their members with profound disabilities.
Since the Regional Grants panel was established, over £264,000 has been awarded to community projects that benefit children and young people across the region in line with the aims of the organisation.
