Start Your Own Fundraising Baton Now!

You don't have to wait for the official fundraising baton to come to you - why not start your own?

You could make your own fundraising relay baton - maybe take a bit of inspiration from Blue Peter! Kitchen roll tubes or anything round and hollow, or see the fundraising pack for more details. Or you could contact The Children's Foundation to find out how you can get your hands on one of our shiny aluminium relay batons. Whatever your baton is made from, the important thing to remember is not to drop it!

You could start a baton off at work, fundraise for a week and then pass the baton on to another branch or department. You could even take your fundraising baton to meetings and pass it over to your business associates.

Why not start a fundraising baton on your street? You could wash cars to raise money and then pass the baton on to your neighbour. It doesn't matter how much is raised, large or small - all donations will make a huge difference to The Great North Children's Hospital and have a positive impact on child health in North East England.

Bronze, Silver and Gold medals will be presented to the fundraising group who raise the most money in the 'Great North Baton Challenge' by an Olympian and winners will be invited to the opening of the Great North Children's Hospital - so get fundraising now!
