Kindness doesn’t cost much…
We have noticed it’s national ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ this Friday… What a good excuse to make a small donation to The Children’s Foundation! Every little counts – honestly – and even a lot of small donations can add up and bring relief and happiness to children suffering in our region.
Your donation can make a big difference and will help us continue working to improve the health and well-being of children and young people in the North East and North Cumbria.
We fund research and practical interventions to improve the health and well-being of children and young people in the region. We also fund a number of community based projects including:
- Clown Doctors at the Great North Children’s Hospital
- Stars Awards – celebrating the achievements of children living with a disability
- 3D Pain Distraction Units – distracting children undergoing painful treatments
- Because Minding Matters appeal – where we are striving to work across the region to tackle the mental health and wellbeing issues which children face
An example of people’s kindness was the number of volunteers who were involved in our record-breaking Festive Fundraising activities last December 2016 – simply not possible without their support.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support, and if you feel like generous please click here to make your donation.
And The Children’s Foundation wishes you a day full of kindness!
