Fundraising Manager

Organisation – The Children’s Foundation

Salary – Circa £25,000 dependent on experience

Contract Type – Permanent

Hours – Full time (37.5 Hours)

Location – Regional role based in Newcastle upon Tyne

The Children’s Foundation has an exciting and unique opportunity for a fundraising professional looking to be strategically  involved in our growing organisation, a highly respected and commended children’s and young people’s health charity to grow income and awareness of its work.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work within our team in order to support the development and delivery of The Children’s Foundation’s fundraising activities, meeting agreed targets through a range of fundraising functions. The post will actively increase the Foundation’s supporter base with innovative and engaging initiatives. You will lead on the planning and delivery of key charity fundraising events and initiatives throughout the year.

Established in 1990 in Newcastle upon Tyne, against a backdrop of our region’s child health levels being the worst in the country, The Children’s Foundation rooted programmes proudly supports the health and wellbeing of North East children and young people. The Foundation focuses on the relief of distress, disability and disadvantage. It aspires to make the North East the best place to be young, resilient, active and healthy!

This position requires flexibility since the role requires working evenings and weekends and since visiting a variety of locations is essential, a driving licence and own vehicle will be necessary.
